It’s always been clear that given time, Vaughn would find success. He’s easily the best coach Bama has had since Wells. I said it in last night’s thread, the confidence after the no hitter has snow balled. I hope it continues but I’m also realistic about expectations.
That said winning the series today - on the road - would be huge. It was nice to see Sewell-Thomas packed last weekend and if they can take the series from OU that’ll rollover to next weekend against Arkansas.
It’s not just the fact that Alabama is winning. Florida, Auburn, OU and Jacksonville State even are good teams.

Great guy and coach. Watched him play in high school. Friend of mine that I hunt with here in Houston was in his wedding. I was cautiously optimistic when Bama hired him since SEC fans can be absolutely brutal on coaches and if things don't work out you get thrown under the bus pretty easily, even by your own fanbase.
