If he doesn't win bigly. Next year is it, either he breaks thru to a Final 4 or he should be gone.

Ok thats what i figured but havnt been following it too closely to see how we were projecting him. So we need a big time SG, PF and C in the transfer portal.

Not going to miss a guard shooting 20ish% from 3. Finding a replacement for Mitchell and big that doesnt have skillet hands and zero emotional control will likely determine if Gates keeps his job or not.

Guys, should we be impressed with the new guys coming from the portal?
Looks like the Tenn guy is a bench player with good forward size who has been at a new school every year (makes me nervous). Don't know a thing about the other fellow.

To be fair, Carey transferred from JMU to Vandy with his coach. His rebounding seems to be exactly what we need.

If Gates doesn't get an impact 5 (sorry but Burns ain't it unless he puts on 50 pounds) and an experienced point/combo guard ... we're gonna be dogshit.

Couple of good transfer pieces. Wing Jamier Jones (6-6) from Providence and Jaylen Carey from Tenner - offensive rebounding machine.
Might be in the lead for Kentucky SG Jasper Johnson.
