Kind of funny to look at live RPI and see Florida ranked 8th, 4 spots ahead of Bama who swept them, while Bama is 1 spot ahead of Kentucky who swept us. #baseball

I figure tonight in Oxford favors OM with McPherson out and the pitching matchup being Elliott vs basically State’s bullpen arms. Valincius and Stone staying on Saturday and Sunday for now.
Will be interesting though. State has had a ton of success against OM in the last decade, but I’ll always consider Swayze a tough place to win a road series.

Yep. Always seem to lose a key player on any team in any sport at MSU when things are going well. Can count on it every time. Hopefully Foster has it tonight or at least be serviceable enough to run through some innings.

Foster is really talented, I feel like it’s a confidence thing. If they ever unlock his potential though he’s got a chance to be every bit as good as McPherson or Valincius.
But by the same token, if you told me he doesn’t make it out of the 1st tonight, that wouldn’t surprise me either.
