Team is really struggling thus far. Pompey has struck out 26 times in 47 ABs so far.

The left side of our infield is killing us.
An infield platooning Pompey, Brumbaugh, and Souza at 3B and SS isn’t going anywhere. Those guys are all automatic outs who are sub .200 hitters.
Pompey looks so lost. 0-4 with 4 K’s today. Similar to Diggs and Slavens, he looks like a guess hitter just flailing wildly at low and away.
This is the dropoff in our lineup. Robinett is our 6 hole hitter and hitting .310. After that it’s Souza at .196, Pompey at .188, and Brumbaugh at .156.

Brumbaugh has to sit until he can prove it in the mid week games. Not only does he suck at the plate but he’s making a lot of errors.
An argument can be made that the other 2 are just slumping. They both have hit at this level before but haven’t found themselves after an injury.
