We didn't sacrifice shite. We hired an imbecile of a baseball coach to lead our athletic department. Absolutely shameful what Mayberry Ray did.

Good sacrifice if you ask me. Three titles since 2017; five straight Final Fours; dominate the conference.

Dawn was hired in 2008
Blaming her gives Tanner a pass he does not deserve

Everyone likes to blame ray tanner but USC athletics have always been kinda shitty. The baseball team was pretty good at losing before tanner and the football team has always been a below .500 conference team. The state isn’t big enough to support 2 P5 schools and Clemson is better the USC.

What are you talking about? Before Tanner, South Carolina had been to the world series 5 times and lost in the national championship twice. They have had a good baseball program since the 1970s

Their men's basketball program was always shite. That aberration Final Four under Martin a decade ago has the only tournament wins they have in 45 years.

We made the CWS 5 times before Ray became coach and played for the national title twice.

Yankee great and Sumter native Bobby Richardson was a hell of a baseball coach for us.

It’s terrible how bad we are. And there are lots of rumors we will bring Paris back again next year due to being too poor to fire him

That is exactly what Missouri did and boom so far Mizzou is playing as a team for the first time in a long time.

Their men's basketball program was always shite.
our men's basketball program once ruled over the ACC at a time that conference was as nasty as it ever has been among member schools - Frank McGuire - Vic Bubas with Eddie Cameron AD involved - Dean Smith - Lefty Driesell - SEC hoops has never experienced a stretch of seasons like the ACC did when McGuire came to Columbia after coaching Wilt Chamberlain in Philly -
the hate and vitriol that existed and drove conference policy and biases towards USC - only Jerry Tarkanian and his battle with the NCAA can relate to what Frank McGuire put up with and still beat while coaching at South Carolina -

Ray Tanner did that to us.
He destroyed his legacy.
Crazy thing is ... he still hangs around and acts like a king. He's at every fundraiser I attend. He's always in one of the VIP boxes. He's always dropping in, unannounced, in the Cockabooses.
He needs to stay away for awhile. His name is Mudd right now.
