Thanks Steven. The Houston game gave us a false hope. Michigan, Purdue, Arizona should’ve been the warning signs the wheels fell off.

I would think the players give minimal effort to lsu and bama and the one and only sec game.
1-10 to finish the season and give payback to SP for ruining the year and BP for recruiting them.

Seems like these coaching red flags can be a death knell for a program. I don’t think we will - or can - fire him after one year. Especially with Bruce being a statue-worthy legend for Auburn sports.

I put this season on Bruce. Not only did he leave so late, he put recruiting on tge back burner because of our team last year.

Bruce did piss poor recruiting. He waiting until after our season. He even said he never saw Jovic and was surprised how short he was.

Bruce stopped recruiting towards top ten classes and has always used a different path to filling needs.
So while recruiting sucked under him there was never panic or a sign of something afoot. I mean last year we had Broome. And we got him from Moorehead State or something.

Cannot understand how this team beat St Johns, Florida , Arkansas and Kentucky and turns around and loses 7 of the last 8 games.

I understand his strategy. But he stopped recruiting in general last season. I suspect he knew he was out . My personal theory is he wasn't sure SP was a shoe in and didnt care

I think it’s more that that. He knows the X’s and O’s, but maybe short on the manager portion of the role.
Hard to learn on the job at a school like AU who’s had a lot of recent success.
