Because Knoxville weather in February is dicey and they would miss a lot of games because of a wet field. Trust me, I would prefer a grass field, but you do what you have to do to get games in.

That’s no excuse. It’s just as bad in Fayetteville as it is in Knoxville and we have grass

I went to games there 2010ish/2011ish and they had a beautiful grass and dirt infield. Immaculate. The head groundskeeper was morbidly obese but his crew kept that field in great shape. The weather excuse ain't gonna fly.

That actually looks really nice. The front entrance and the main concourse look like a clone of Swayze, I mean surprisingly so.

It's quaint and nice. The upper concourse level open to view the field is a fantastic touch. It's always tough to do when leaving the existing concourse in place.
