When you’re able to cover up murder cases your value goes up, duh.

Why only Tennessee has consistently beaten him

I, for one, wish a bigger school would hire him away. He is a constant threat at Bama

Why? He won his last game against Auburn and Bruce couldn’t finish with a winning record against him.

Stupid thread. Oats' team has been injured for a lot of the season and was missing over 30 ppg last night. He's been to 4 Sweet 16's, 2 Elite 8's and 1 Final Four.

Every school in the SEC would rather have him as their coach besides Florida..

Somehow Mick Cronin still makes more than both.

Not sure what the few other coaches that so consistently win their conference and make it deep in the tourney are making but he may deserve a raise.

If they ever get their top 6-7 guys healthy at the same time this season, I wouldn't bet against them for another good tourney run.

When an Auburn fan is talking shite about Oats? Of course. He has a winning record against Auburn and his titles and accolades surpass that of Auburn since he was hired.

It’s an odd thread for an Auburn fan to create.

Oats is a one trick pony. Shoot the 3. His teams play very little D. When the 3's are falling, bama is dangerous. When they aren't...........

And yet he’s coming off of a final four two years ago and an elite eight run last year. This team hasn’t been healthy for months and they’re still capable of getting a four seed or better.

Compare that to the Grant and Avery years? Most if not all Bama fans are satisfied with Oats. Outside of Florida, I think every other SEC fanbase would trade their five year run for what Oats has done since he’s been at Alabama.

His end of game coaching last night was a fireable offense… down 5 with under a minute and he let almost 20 seconds run off the clock before finally fouling. Just idiotic.

Pretty sure he wanted his kids to foul. You can’t do it for them….

People used to say the same thing about Jay Wright. It took him years before reaching the mountain. I think Alabama will take its chances and stick with Oats

Wright's teams were known for their high intensity effort on D. They were physical on both ends of thee floor. You could not be further off on your assessment.
