That dude appears to be a few cards shot of a full deck. Didn't he ever even learn about bag men?

I don’t think it matters what Clemson is pushing as accusations. If you buy into LSU’s troll, he isn’t good. But truth is, Ole Miss won a lot of games be recruited defense well and fielded good defenses. There were low scoring games Ole Miss won, Lane struggled, bc the defense held. Lane couldn’t score on Kentucky bc he caught them too early in the year before his offense jelled. He and Sark played all their cream puffs at the beginning to get their offense to jel and ranking up. LSU plays P4’s early.

I don’t understand the reason people think he’s not good. LSU fans don’t watch anyone else play all season and pretend they do.

Plus, Lane tampers just as much, so it’s dumb for Ole Miss to be bothered. But because Ole Miss defended Lane so much, even when his offense struggled or team faked injuries, they have to take it on the chin. It’s funny.

Ole Miss fans calling Pete "The New Kirby Smart" if that tells you anything...

It’s unbelievable they think a drunk from Hammond is the next Saban. Totally delusional.

He’s barely the first Pete Golding. What a dummy.

I agree with most of what you wrote.

another point is that Lane was "offensive" mastermind right that's his calling card so he put more NIL toward offense this year and why we struggled on defense. we did not allocate funds as much toward the defense.

Pete has balance that out now and wants his defense to be stout to make his side of the ball look dominant. I think we will see a better defense this year and a slight drop off at offense but not much still have key play makers and an OC that turned around a terrible ecu offense and one with familiarity with Ole miss and the system.

Pete works hard and recruits hard, has a drive like no other and I Believe everyone will realize this at some point.

The NCAA is about to impose the death penalty. Don’t you read the news?

Question about Golding…

The Locked on Ole Miss guy was crying about the Clemson thing on his podcast yesterday. Dude also used the word bloviating about 50 times.

Must have seen it in his word of the day calendar.

Offering you a moment to clarify.

Is this hyperbolic cliche, or do you believe this is actually true?

A Head Coach who directly contacts a player on another team seems to be incredibly stupid. Why not have a bag man handle all the dirty work so there is at least one level of insulation from the tampering accusation?

I am not condemning tampering. Everybody is doing it.

Because his head is so big and he is so arrogant he thinks rules don’t apply to him. When in reality, the dude is in way over his head and his insecurity as a leader feeds the inflated over exaggerated ego. He will crash and burn. Pride comes before a fall

All this knowledge about Golding after only 2 games as HC, one which he lost.

Three games (2-1), but I agree about a small sample size.

I’m curious to see how he does. His loyalty to Ole Miss was clearly rewarded and he could turn out to be a great hire.
