With all the BS going on in CBB and guys coming back to school, If I was AU I'd ask Sharife & JT if they want to return to school... pay them $8M a piece.

Not sure I want to deal with Omar Cooper. But I get what you are saying. Plus we aren’t paying $16m on a basketball roster. Last season I think we were close to $8m total and doubt we ever get close to that again anytime in the near future.
Our basketball roster budget is probably about $5m going forward.

They’re both younger than Chad Baker-Mazara.

They both played in NBA games. The only one i can think of that would still have eligibility and never played in the league is Austin Wiley

Won’t be long before somebody sues and says that they should have unlimited eligibility.

Agreed

I'm assuming we could sign anyone who still has eligibility remaining, even if they didn't previously play here. Any chance our staff is planning to bring in new players this month?

My guess is money will be an issue.

Get a doctorate in badminton and play for a decade.

I'd take Wendy. He is not allowed to take last shot though

quote:I don’t think this is the barometer some think it is. Bediako was under contract with NBA teams via two way contracts. Actual minutes logged wouldn’t make a difference. Bediako could have very easily been called up and contractually obligated to play on a NBA team under those contracts. He just wasn’t or good enough or wasn’t needed.
They both played in NBA games.

NEW: Charles Bediako has been granted a temporary restraining order and is immediately eligible to participate for Alabama basketball.
Bediako is a professional player for the Motor City Cruise of the NBA G League.

How about Marlon Davidson? We need another 3 tech.
What a ridiculous time we are in. Hope not just bama but anyone that does this kind of shite gets hit hard for not going through proper eligibility standards
