I feel gross saying it.
I was convinced I was gonna be rooting for Indiana basically up until this morning. But I swear they’re such an extreme “Cinderella” while being dominant that them winning almost feels like a condemnation of modern CFB.
You don’t get to literally have one of the most lazy and terrible programs of all time and then suddenly recruit a bunch of 24 year olds to come win you a championship in two short years without something being wrong with this sport.
If it was a program like Mississippi State? Sure frick it they deserve it. Indiana? Hell no. Too much, too quick. And I have to be honest I want to see them fail tonight and then never come back like they have this season.

Thankfully Hitler and Stalin got eliminated on the same weekend as us. I’m for Miami but don’t really hate either

Indiana. Miami still carries bad memories from decades ago.

Indiana. They play a good brand of ball. Less of a recruiting problem for us since we tend to hit up Miami for prospects each year.

Miami. I like Cristobal a lot more than Cignetti.

I don’t give a damn about Indiana other than Cignetti is associated with Saban and I usually pull for his ex assistants except when we play them. Problem is both coaches are from the Saban tree. That said I can’t hold my nose and pull for The U. Too much bad blood going back 30+ years.
Also, I want to at least be able to say we lost to the eventual national champion. Sounds better.

Indiana is weird. I find cignetti to be very unlikable.

This season is Cig's only shot at a title in my opinion. Give me Miami

Many people found Saban to be unlikable. This Indiana team plays a lot like some of Saban's team during his run at Bama.

There's just no way Indiana doesn't have more weaknesses in their secondary than has been shown. They just don't have enough good athletes back there and yet it's never an issue in any of these games. I just don't get it

Smarts beats athleticism.

My wife is an IU grad. I'd like to get laid again sometime this decade, so the Hoosiers it is.
Cig is a Pittsburgh native like me as well, so more reason to go with them.
