Talking to GMs this morning - dozens of examples of players in the Portal asking if they can return to the team only to discover their spot has been filled Countless examples of players being told entering the Portal is a sound business decision with zero risk since the fallback option is your current roster spot Other examples of the current team offering a reasonable $ figure and “agents” lacking the ability to even spell market rate convincing the player the offer is disrespectful

Is this true? Most certainly. Does Pate have dozens of examples? Probably not.

Common sense. I think the rate is 20% of P4 portal entries don’t get an offer anywhere.

I don’t feel sorry for any player who voluntarily leaves their team and gets left with no option other than to drop down in classification. It’s a business choice now so be patient and choose wisely. And get a damn education.

Good things have side effects, bad things benefits.
It's up to the human mind to discern, and face whatever comes of their choice.

Crazy portal numbers. 40% of players in the portal don't have a home.

With thousands of players still out there in the portal he very well could.

Nah, they'll just start allowing them to contact without entering most likely the way things have been going.

That makes me happy. That's good for them all. They deserve it

I don't feel sorry for them. Have some fricking loyalty and stick with your team and your teammates.

OKST had over 60 players enter the portal. We signed our 50th incoming, so far, this week.
That doesn't leave a lot of room to "come back" for those who didn't land elsewhere.
