I don’t care whether he signs with us or not. I’m just not convinced that he will be in the top third of SEC QBs next fall.

TBH, I don’t know what the going rate for a P4 QB1 is going to be moving forward (or what LSU is actually paying him for certain) to give an opinion of what he needs to be doing. The NIL market seems to be reset each offseason so who knows what X “salary” is right now is a good or bad deal. I’d say the only bad deals right now are the ones where you pay a kid to play, he doesn’t, then transfers somewhere else the next year
