Unbiased Mount Rushmore of SEC head coaches...

Much as I would love to put either coach Spurrier or coach Meyer on for what they accomplished and how they each revolutionized SEC football, I can't quite find a spot. The actual unbiased Mountain in my opinion...
Coach Bryant.
Coach Saban.
Coach Summit.
Coach Rupp.
I think that's a fair enough list MOST could agree with, no?

If you are going to combine all the sports, that list makes as much sense as any.

Who would you bump off his list to make room for Bertman?

Bertman > Rupp

Summit but no Bergman? Ok, list sucks.

Woman’s basketball coach.

I like the Rupp choice, but Bertman had more NCAA championships. Let's let the women have their own Rushmore and do the best in the three major sports: Bryant, Saban, Rupp, and Bertman.

Who?
The guy who won 5x as many College World Series titles as Florida has won in their entire program history.
That’s who.

Pat Summit
Presidential Medal of Freedom recipient
8 national titles
16 SEC titles
16 SEC conference tournament titles
18 various coach of the year awards
Skip Bertman
5 national titles
7 SEC titles
14 various coach of the year awards
People who don’t follow sports know who Pat Summit was. People who do follow sports don’t know who Skip Bertman was.
It isn’t very close.

I am with you on this. Absolute legend. No need to remove anyone from the list just add him. Trump will be added to Mt Rushmore, so five it is.

Alex Bergman was a quality 3rd baseman. Not sure why he would be in this conversation though.

No one without a passing interest in SEC sports knows who Pat Summit was.
If we are going minor sports, which women's basketball is, Pat Henry is the better Pat. 32 national titles between LSU and A&M outdoor and indoor.

So very in his way and may be passed by Jay Johnson who is doing what Bertman did but under in my opinion more difficult circumstances. You can’t just get hot and win it. In my opinion the baseball national championship is the most difficult to obtain and also the truest form of a national championship that any college sport offers in its current format.

If you want to count Texas, Eddie Reese has 15 National Championships in Men's Swimming & Diving.

“People think I'm the greatest damn coach in the world," said the great Bear Bryant, "but Neyland taught me everything I know."
That quote speaks well of both men. Neyland above Pat everyday. He also served in both World Wars. That generation of coach had some genuine heroes in it

Absolutely not. Coach Spurrier and Urban go in before that guy, no question. Bud Wilkinson if we're fudging and including the new guys.
