Paid to play college or paid to play in an NFL training camp, they are all professionals. Stop the hypocrisy.
Either we play professionals or we don't. I vote no paying players. If you want pay for play then start a minor league for football players.

Billy Cannon (Heisman) and Johnny Robinson (NFL Hall of Fame) was a pretty strong backfield combo.
And when Cannon and Robinson were sophomores (1957) another NFL Hall of Famer was in the backfield, Jimmy Taylor. Not a bad threesome.
