Yeah, because switching to cane sugar makes it so much healthier.

Healthier and Coca-Cola? Nobody in their right mind attempts to put those concepts together.
I'll never vote for Cassidy, but Fleming that is a bad dye job. Grow old gracefully and be yourself.
If the government shuts down and no one notices, was it doing any good in the first place?
Does it say co-champs with Auburn?

This year will mark 62 years in a row that LSU plays Alabama. Grizzly, get some perspective.

Yes, and a garbage man is a sanitation engineer.
Yes, money is everything.
That image is all the confirmation you need. LSU is relegated to the Southwest conference:

LSU has played Alabama for 65 straight years.
It has played Florida for 55 straight years and 69 out of the past 72 years. And we get A&M and Ar-Kansas instead? Expansion sucks for the fans.

The real problem for the LSU fan is TA&M doesn't move the passion needle. We just don't care about them. It's hard to get fired up for someone you don't think about.

We really cared about our annual meetings with Ala. and Fla. (and Auburn, for the couple decades we had them as an annual game).

3 permanent games
6 rotating games with remaining 12 opponents.

Next to over expansion, the real problem is going to a 9 game SEC schedule. I'm not sure why we did that. We've upset traditional schedules to beat the hell out of each other.
Tiger Droppings has its own page with head-to-heat history. Which is what I used in identifying our four most traditional SEC rivals.

Geography played a role. Arkansas, Texas, and Mississippi are neighboring states. Alabama and Florida and Georgia are not neighboring states.

If proximity were important, Tuscaloosa is closer to Baton Rouge than Fayetteville and College Station.

LSU-Ole Miss: 113 meetings, first in 1894, LSU leads 66-43-4
LSU-Ark: 70 meetings, first in 1901, LSU leads 45-23-2
LSU-A&M: 63 meetings, first in 1899, LSU leads 36-24-3

Our four most traditional rivals (excluding Tulane):
Miss. St. 117
Ole Miss 113
Ala. 89
Florida 72

i wanted 3 of these 4: AU, Bama, UF, OM

those are the games that have been the most entertaining over the last 25 years.....
