Everything that Auburn does is because they have Alabama on the brain 24/7/365. They hired Russki Harsin because he was the OC for Tennessee in 2022 when they beat us and then of course because he played us tough when we played them in 23 & 24. They really are a sick, obsessed cult. Paying Byrum Brown $3.5 million is certifiable.

Hes a perfect fit for their new system because he already played for that coach.
Im not sure hes a heisman guy, but I expect their offense to be top 20 next year if they can rebuild at WR and OL.
And I'm happy they paid what they did, it means they cant spend that money on other positions most likely.

Seems dumb to pay that just to follow the coach. He was shoe in to transfer anyway and could have gotten him for much cheaper. USF NIL fund is probably non-existent so why overpay?

Obviously Auburn paying that much is ridiculous, but you guys laughing at these schools paying big money for QBs when every team in the final 4 has a portal QB.
Maybe it's time Alabama starts getting all of their QBs from the portal too.
