Does Alabama make a run at Pete Golding when Deboer is inevitably fired?

Golding already has Alabama ties and is obviously a very good coach. He could bring some toughness back to the program.

Would be an excellent hire, and the Alabama fans here clearly love him.

Ole Miss to Bama is too big of a leap, he’d need to prove he can win at a smaller stepping stool program like LSU first

I think he's obviously their guy.

Pretty clear based on recent comments on this board that Alabama folks think Golding is the next Saban. Best coach in America. He's 1 of 1. Or maybe 1 of 2 now.

Kalen Deboer will regret not giving that Michigan job a good look.

TRIGGER ALERT: One of our sons graduated Ole Miss in 2024.

With that out of the way—— ‘Word is Mrs. Golding who is a prof or teacher at Ole Miss loves Oxford and ain’t leaving.

The man has two (count them 2!) playoff wins.

Alabama would be lucky to get his attention and pull him away from OM. Sorry Bama, dont see it happening. We are talking about OM.

Deboer isnt going anywhere. He is Bama's coach for the long haul. The dynasty is over. The days of dominance for multiple years is over. NIL is the great equalizer and Saban knew this. That is why he retired. Bama fans better get used to mediocrity. The coaches who can work the portal and know how to talk to these young players are the coaches who will win. Thats why Lsu getting Kiffin was huge. As soon as Ole Miss loses, which they will, then our coach will get us back in the mix. Meantime bama fans can come back down to earth.

Too early to say, but the better question is why are LSU fans so triggered by Golding

I mean, making response threads about him is weakling level shite

Yes, he’s 2-0 in the CFP. Bama would be nuts not to at least reach out.
