Leavitt to UK, Sorsby to Tech, Brown to Aubie, Simmons to Mizzou, Chambliss to NFL…is LSU sticking with Van Buren?

Here's the scoop:

Stein flew back to Lexington after Oregon beat Texas Tech the other day, in part because of Leavitt. Leavitt arrived in Lexington last night and will be here visiting this weekend. Local outlets here in Lexington are reporting that $4.1 mil is indeed the offer on the table for Leavitt.

Seeing reports that our former WR Deandre Moore is visiting Kentucky as well. Him and CJ Baxter?

Kentucky is doing work. Good on y’all.

Yep. Stein has assembled a solid staff and hit the ground running on recruiting. Boosters have ponied up NIL money for the fresh start. A lot of positive momentum for UK football this offseason. Going to have to make some noise against a tough arse schedule in 2026 to keep this ball rolling.

This a very large sum for one player for a team that has as many holes as UK does.

Leavitt is a nice athlete but has some real accuracy issues.

It’s what CFB is now, don’t have to like it, but you do have to dig in and go for it.

And the reality is, say he has 2 or 3yrs of eligibility left... which he might but I'm not looking it up, UK would have to recruit him again for the next year.

Certainly not anything close to being able to throw over 4m at 1 player. That’s insane.

Interesting how they treated their all time winningest coach at the end of his tenure by comparison. It’s literally night and day.
