Well, I should have emphasized they claim a national championship more recently.
Ole Miss claims 1959, 1960, and 1962, but they are all debatable. They haven't won the AP title once.

I want Ole Miss to win the Championship because their team, Alumni and supporters all got a raw deal.
It’s big business in the coaching world, sure. But this went down in the worst possible fashion. It’s on Kiffen, and the respective Athletic Departments, but not on the players and fans.
I genuinely hope they win.
But, I’ve bet on Miami to win it all at +410 because.. Good bet.

The most ironic tradition in CFB is Ole Miss' Walk of Champions. Not one player who has ever walked through that archway was a collegiate champion.
