A game like that lingers over a program for a long time.

Unreal Bama stat.....48 rushing yards in last 3 games. And I thought LSU run game was abysmal.

It’ll be the medias talking points the entire offseason. Commentators will bring it up for the next few games. And when the next years season starts, it’ll be the talking point when they take the field.

What do you even tell recruits after that? Come here as a 5* so you can pantsed by 0*s on national TV over the holiday season?

well when you get down big and give up a bunch of sacks you are not really going to look good rushing the ball

They only ran the ball 8 times yesterday

I’d say 75%+ of the 5*’s don’t care as long as they get paid.

The top receiver in the 2027 class is a Alabama crystal ball but has Indiana in his top 3 and he was posting about the game on X

Shoved in a locker and recruiting lunch money stolen

Is that net of sack yardage? Cause I count 192 yds rushing in the last 3 games.

For some stupid reason they count QB sacks as negative yards in the rushing column. Wish they'd count it as negative passing yardage.

one way the NFL is better than CFB is how they record sacks separately in the stat lines

but even that is mind boggling - an OL loaded at every position giving up 144 yards in sacks over three games? yikes

Yeah for real ! I had to research it, because it was that bad !

Seems that after the 1971 season #2 Bama lost to #1 Nebraska in the Orange Bowl 38-6 !

I dont know what became of Bama's coach. I'm sure they fired the bum !

But I was reliably told that Bama is the greatest football program ever and every other team sucks compared to them. If true, why would the rush defense of these teams matter? Wouldn’t the greatest program ever dominate everyone they played no matter what?

Did teams average more or less than 16 yards rushing against those teams?

Yeah, I was telling a friend yesterday that was the worst bowl beating we’d had since the ‘72 Orange Bowl…both losses smarted but that Nebraska loss was a tad worse because we were undefeated, ranked #2, and Bear was coaching…

I'm not a fan of excuses.

Yeah, those are great run defenses, but we have the talent accumulated that we should have at least ran for what those teams average giving up (and probably a bit more). I'm not saying we should have run for 300 against each of them, but there's just too much talent to be that bad no matter how good the run defenses are.

I hope the staff takes a long, hard look at the OL coaching, scheme, and personnel and figures it out. We have a 5* RB coming in and I have no interest in watching him have no holes and constantly being hit behind the LOS.

Yep. You can't blame a top 4 run defense for only rushing with a running back 8 times. With Bama's history, I'd be pissing blood if I were a bama fan.
