Lane allowed Ole Miss to use his coaches so far but now that it is portal season, Lane needs his staff at full strength

Weis went back to Oxford with the team, I’m sure he is sticking around. A couple of the position coaches may go ahead and go.

I don’t think we could blame him if he does. He’s in a really good situation right now so I don’t think there is a wrong or right move to make.

They were talking about it on Get Up. Said they expect it to happen and Golding has a plan for when it does.

Can LSU fans now acknowledge the idea of him coaching ole miss in this playoff could never happen. Imagine being the ole Miss players and your head coach isn't celebrating with you or getting on the plane to go back to Oxford with you to game plan for the game to get you in the national championship because he's driving to Baton Rouge to recruit for the portal. Kiffin didn't think ole miss would get this far so he didn't think he would have had a conflict if he did get to coach. Apparently Weiss is the only one who went back with the team. Someone please explain how Kiffin would have handled last night and today if he was allowed to coach?
