I totally agree there, overall yes. I thought you were implying catching was to blame specifically for the L in this game.
Our catching is consistently bad at least for the standard of our program. Where as pitching overall (meaning all outings/pitchers included) is not terrible at all. Out pitching is actually pretty good. We just had a terrible outing by two guys last night that I think lost us the game.

We gave them 12 free runners by way of walk or HBP. Of those 12, 7 of them scored.
Furthermore, 10 of the 12 free runners drew their walk from Evans and Williams and all 7 that scored were walked by either one of them.
2 walks also pushed in a score and 1 of those scores was another walked batter. Both also by Evans/Williams.
The only other two walks were by Noot but neither scored.
I blame pitching in this game, specifically Evans and Williams. Not catching. Yes, we have an issue there.... but this game specifically was lost due to pitching.
If you were to simply remove the two walks that pushed in the guy on third, we would've won. Yes hindsight, but again, my point stands.
And I'm not downing Evans and Williams. Like batters get hot or cold; pitchers have good and bad outings. The next game they throw, they may be lights out.
They just weren't on their game tonight.

You’re not winning with 11 bb. It doesn’t matter how you tinker with the lineup.
100% correct. I think CJJ gives Evans another go at Friday opener but possibly with a short leash.

The idea LSU even had a chance with that pitching line is miraculous.
I think we threw who we threw so as to not jeopardize tonight's game and Sunday's. You take away the walks, we win. So keep the regular rotation for saturday and sunday instead of burning one or two in this game.

I got a question about this. I'm not super in the know with the rules, but doesn't the sec ban artificial noise devices? There is no way that's not a whistle being blown. It's too consistent to be someone whisling by mouth alone.
Then again, state rings their cow bells

I had a set of 33X12.50s.
At a creep like in parking lots, they rattled my truck so much it would shake my rear view mirror.... like you could feel every lug contacting the pavement. They were also very hard and not forgiving but it could be because back when I had them they only made that size in a load range F. At 60K miles, the sidewalls began to split along side the side lugs. At that point, I got rid of them but probably could have gotten another 20k miles.
While I didn't have this issue with my set, when I did buy them, the biggest complaint then was getting all 4 to balance out correctly. Seemed like a lot of people had issues with that. (Unsure about now.)
Sure they pulled good, looked good, and were not terribly loud at highway speeds considering how aggressive they are, but I personally won't run them again on a daily driver.
I love my BFGs now, but if I were in the market for a cheaper/bargain MT, I would be looking into the Atturo Trail Blades. My friends had them and they seemed to love them.

I didn't like the change to begin with. Only needed one more out and Schmidt was doing fine. Let him finish this outing. A change with runner on third, eh

Bizarre that we are running thru young pitchers? Win or lose, this game means nothing when it comes to post season.
Trust cjj, he's figuring out the young talent now rsther than later before we get into conference play

Unsure about solar but if having the utility company add a new service at the dock cost too much or isn't an option, I may would just buy a small generator to leave at the dock locked up. Sure, more of a inconveniences but it would work.

Ok , quick question how safe is seat geek to use? Thanks for any info
Very. I've purchased tickets thru them many times over the last couple of years for various events.
I actually did, this past Saturday, for the baseball game as well. Make purchase, then transfer them to your apple or google wallet, once at the gate just open your phone and scan the QR codes. Its really simple.
But yes, as others have said, typically early season especially mid week games, Alex Box isn't full. I typically buy some cheap tickets, go sit for awhile, then move to better seats if they are still empty around the 3rd inning.
I did the same Saturday when I went. My friends went and I bought tickets late so my tickets weren't next to them. After the 2nd or 3rd inning, the empty seats by them were still empty, so we just moved and went sit by them.

Exactly.

What we are laughing at, is your new HC is showing his incompetence just weeks on the job in his new position.

Yea i think this season ended with a lot of dynamics that could play out in S3 depending on how TS wants to take it.
CTT leases are suppose to be under Mtex, but are they? They covered it some in the last episode.
The off shore rig, does it hit or not?
Do CTT leases continue to hit or not?
In the last episode or maybe two episodes ago, Garcia and Tommy spoke about the deal Garcia made with Cami/Mtex for the offshore rig, and IIRC whether it hits or not it will essentially fold Mtex and Cami doesnt even realize it. (I could be remembering wrong here, but essentially it was one of the reasons Tommy was so against the deal aside from the rig not hitting. I think it had lifetime royalties if it hit so high that it would actually cost Mtex)
All the Mtex debt, does it get called?
Then again, TS isn't much on fine details. But all of these will be interesting to see play out in S3. At least for the oil story line of the show. Personally, I don't really care about the character's personal story lines aside from maybe the lawyer.
