Dear OM fans…this post has zero to do with our desire to see the NCAA punish your football team and everything to do with the fact that your HC very obviously has a room temp IQ.
Exactly.
OM fans think we care whether or not the NCAA will do anything..... we don't.
What we are laughing at, is your new HC is showing his incompetence just weeks on the job in his new position.

I think Texas or UGA as well.

Yea i think this season ended with a lot of dynamics that could play out in S3 depending on how TS wants to take it.
CTT leases are suppose to be under Mtex, but are they? They covered it some in the last episode.
The off shore rig, does it hit or not?
Do CTT leases continue to hit or not?
In the last episode or maybe two episodes ago, Garcia and Tommy spoke about the deal Garcia made with Cami/Mtex for the offshore rig, and IIRC whether it hits or not it will essentially fold Mtex and Cami doesnt even realize it. (I could be remembering wrong here, but essentially it was one of the reasons Tommy was so against the deal aside from the rig not hitting. I think it had lifetime royalties if it hit so high that it would actually cost Mtex)
All the Mtex debt, does it get called?
Then again, TS isn't much on fine details. But all of these will be interesting to see play out in S3. At least for the oil story line of the show. Personally, I don't really care about the character's personal story lines aside from maybe the lawyer.

This. I find the cheapest brand that has the highest % concentrate of Glyphosate (usually 41%). I also do the same for 2-4D and mix them together every time I spray.

Agreed and it shouldn't.
What lost OM the game was scoring too quickly the drive before giving Miami plenty enough time to make another drive. Then again, I don't know if they could've chewed enough time off the clock anyway.
Either way, hell of a game and great performances by both teams.

It was leaked after Sorsby had already signed with Tech, no?
I don't remember and don't care enough to look at the time line.
I just don't see LSU leaking it and i think be it before or after he signed with TT, sorby's agent would care less if it was leaked. And if leaked before his signing, it would actually be in his client's best interest.

Did MM actually say this?
No.
While I only really listen to MM for essentially a summary of what happened day prior, I take his opinions with a grain of salt.
However, his take on this leak was actually pretty interesting and I didn't look at this way.
His guess/opinion is that Sorsby's agent maybe leaked it maybe to up his numbers.
He went on to say while it shouldn't have been leaked and disagrees with it, it actually could make LSU look good. Most schools are throwing rev share offers to sign players immediately since they control the money and then essentially promising the rest of the offer in a NIL deal. What this leak shows is that LSU right out the gate can have a NIL offer in the players hands along with the schools rev share offer.
re: Who will be the first school to abandon HS recruiting?
Posted by southern686 on 1/7/26 at 9:11 am to Bamafig
Unsure which will abandon it first, but I do think we will start seeing P4 schools going heavy on the portal and less on HS recruiting. As someone said 70/30 or maybe even 80/20 split.
I mean why recruit a HS kid, tie up money on them, develop them, etc. only for them to probably transfer the following year for more money or wanting more play time.
You might as well recruit they very best, and let the rest go to a G5 or a DIV2, or a FCS school.
While still keeping an eye on those would be recruits, let those schools do the development and give them play time. If they turn out good, then get them in the portal.
Until something is done; I personally think we will see more of this.

re: LSU fans already saying they didn’t want to keep Frank
Posted by southern686 on 12/17/25 at 8:09 am to WAOMRebel
While I love coach Frank and wish we could've worked out something to retain him, I think letting him walk is the right thing to do.
Rosters are not built the same these days due to the portal. Sure, I agree, recruiting is still important but IMO its not as important as it once was; pre-portal era.
That said, I personally would rather take a solid RB coach (which we all know Wilson is not) instead of essentially reserving a coaching position for the sake of recruiting.

re: Painting an older home
Posted by southern686 on 11/21/25 at 10:28 am to bradygolf98
I did this very thing about 2 years ago.
I bought an older home (1970s) and it has paneling. I used an oil base primer and latex paint.
IIRC the wife picked a Benjamin Moore color called Swiss Coffee. Its an off white but none the less still very close to white. I have no signs of any yellowing.
My only issue is my toddler running hot wheels down the walls and other toys. The white shows everything pretty easily but there was no way I could talk her into anything else.
