Exactly. This is one of the worst O lines I’ve ever seen at Bama. Barry Sanders would struggle with this O line.

This team did not deserve to be in the play offs. The last game against Georgia showed that in spades.

Even when the OL stood up these guys barely got yards but I blame that on the OC

My hopes are that Chris Kapilovic is fired immediately after this game and a GOOD O line coach is brought in. I don’t care what it costs, pay him.
Second, need to bring in at least two GOOD offensive linemen. Not crumbs out of the portal from Western Carolina. Good, PROVEN offensive linemen.
Third, in the Spring, make it clear that other than Brailsford (assuming he returns), ALL jobs are up for grabs.

Where is the problem? We supposedly have All American left tackle, All American center. Are the other guys that bad, or is just a problem with blocking scheme? I have a hard time believing it’s a lack of talent, go look at these guys offer list from high school. Everyone wanted most of these guys. Deboer needs better assistants. Especially on offense.

Grubb is similar to Daboll where if he doesn’t the 2007 Patriots to run his scheme, then it’s by and large mediocre. He needs a transcendent QB, great WR and a fantastic running back, 2 of which we have on the bench as of next year and already have this year.

Of course there is raw talent. But it still has to be coached when they get to the college level, and our OL and RB coaches are utterly incompetent.

For the last two years, I've been waiting for Mario Cristobal to crash and burn at Miami. But that obviously isn't happening.

We had a better running game when we had the legendary Chris Capps at tackle. That's not hyperbole. You can check the stats.
