Why doesn’t Miami have a stadium on campus?

I’ve never been that way or follow them much. Is it because of no space on campus?

No space. Their mega booster tried buying a highschool next to campus to tear it down for a stadium but the city veto'd the deal.

Because they have no fans. Everybody in the Miami Metro is like 100 years old and from New York City or they’re 16 years old and from Cuba. They give away tickets to see the hurricanes at gas stations and grocery stores all over town.

They gave up the Orange Bowl for the Marlins. Brilliance.

Vatican spends all the money allocated for athletics on Touchdown Jesus and the real gold in ND's helmets.

Georgia State plays at the old Braves Stadium (The Ted). It's just a few blocks from the campus.

Bought the old dump from Braves, did 20-40 mill in Reno, still a shithole.

Not really on their campus.

Small private school, which means not that many fans and no power of eminent domain to acquire land. When they sucked, and Miami was smaller, the Orange Bowl provided all they needed.

They should've NEVER tore down the old Orange Bowl. They could've gotten the national guard to patrol on gameday due to the bad neighborhood.

UCLA and Southern Cal belong on that list.

The school didn’t own the Orange Bowl. It wasn’t their choice.

Yeah, rarely do jails have land next to them.
