I always thought it was too early for the hype this year. That said, the way he’s hung in there and finished this season has earned my respect

Idk about SEC being freaked but he's clearly improved and with a year under his belt I expect him to do really well next year

I'm not a big fan of projecting improvement for players. That kind of got us the Arch hype leading into this season.

His last few games against talented teams were 179 yards against A&M, 251 yards against UGA, 166 yards vs OU, 263 yards against UF and 170 yards against OSU. He's got 175 yards at this point against Michigan... so 250 or so for the game seems like a reasonable number.

Those numbers don't scream "problem" unless he improves. It might happen, but at this point it's a projection. It's not something that we have evidence of (like he's been progressing this season.)

Is Texas getting a brand new OL that doesn’t suck?

He has certainly gotten better. If Texas HC wasn’t such a dysfunctional drunk he would have realized what Mannings strengths were and utilized his legs more earlier. His legs open up their game , and his passing has drastically improved because of it

That's the plan. We'll see in a few weeks.

Archibald Manning for Heisman. Just give it to him already and crown us NCAA Champs for the 2026-2027 football season.

Players never improve 2 levels above in subsequent seasons.

He needs to get a crew cut so he will quit fluffing his hair out on the sideline.
