A lot of bad performances by SEC teams against supposed inferior opponents. Seems like the sec is on a downward trend over the last few years

We’ll see in a few days.

Not really, Tamu has a competitive game with Miami, OU lost to Bama, Missouri dang bear beat the ACC runerup, and Illinois and Tenn our about equal.

No. To be overrated, people have to think you're good.
No one even erroneously thinks that anymore.

The SEC puts on its pants just like every other conference does.
The inflated standings are just there to embarrass you

Bowl games are rough these days. If you aren’t in the playoffs, it is hard to get motivated to play.

There is not now nor has there ever been any way to know if one conference is better than another because they only play one another during the regular season. If the best 40 teams were in 8 conferences in 2 league and all 40 played one another every 4 years or so and one of those conferences won the title say 10 years straight that conference would be clearly better than the rest. CFB doesn’t work that way….the best teams in 4-5 conferences play OOC against one another 3-4 times every hundred years or so.

You mean like GT gets embarrassed every time they play Georgia. If it were up to me I’d stop this meaningless game. It’s no longer a rivalry when one program wins something like 3 times in 20 plus years. And one of these “wins” resulted in the refs getting suspended for making a bizarre call that cost UGA the game.
I’m tired of my program and Clemson being the sugar daddy who keeps your football program afloat. If not for the two of us filling your rusty old rattletrap of a stadium every other year your program would have collapsed years ago from lack of money and interest.
And what’s with that cry baby coach of yours? We Georgia folks thought that Urban “ the Urban Cryer” Myers was pathetic when he would tear up after a loss. Turns out that was minor stuff compared to your HC.
Your guy cries like a 3 year old who just had his lollipop yanked out of his mouth after a loss. With tears rolling down his face, sullen, head down and barely able to speak during his post game presser, he’s quite a sight.
And hanging on to Kirby for dear life last year after yet another Tech loss was ridiculous. Poor Kirby looked like he didn’t know how to handle this overgrown baby clinging to him. We were starting to wonder if someone from the GT staff was going to have to come over and lead him away.
Tell your big baby to man up and like a professional. Football is for tough guys. It isn’t for weepy sissies who can’t handle losing. And as we all know losing is a tradition at GT so if he plans to stay there he needs to toughen up

Well... I guess the third string and practice squads are. That's pretty much who's been playing in these things.

These bowl games a far less exciting than watching B1G coaches get taken to jail for sure
