What is bama currently ranked in recruiting for 2024? They had a top 3 class, but with the players leaving, they have to be outside the top 10 correct?

Like I’ve been saying, Auburn football is a clown show con job.
The boosters were already screwing Freeze with his 2026 class by not paying for a top 10 recruiting class and handed him a class ranked in the 40s.
The fanbase is also too inpatient to let a coach build a program. Everyone is calling for the coach’s head after two seasons year after year. It’s an endless cycle of failure.
I wish we’d devote more money to basketball because we’ve at least proven to be serious about that under Bruce Pearl. It appears that is coming to a quick end, though, with the average roster the boosters bought him for this season. He wanted nothing to do with it and retired right before the season started.

Alabama has declined from the last game of the Saban Era (Rose Bowl, Playoff) to................well another playoff game in the Rose Bowl.
To be fair, Auburn hasn't declined either! They are right where they were at the end of the 2023 as well..........losing season, no real signs of hope.

That thread is about alabama and they’ve lost 7 games and counting in two seasons since that. If Freeze was mentioned I did think he would succeed but he did fail.

alabama is on the cusp of back to back 4 loss seasons and no National Championships for 5 straight seasons unless they win out.

Yes, Auburn has lost seven games for 5 seasons in a row now. Your last two coaches never had a season with less than 7 losses at Auburn. Before arriving at Auburn, in 20 seasons as head coaches they had one 7 loss season combined. At Auburn they lost 7 games every single season, a perfect 5 for 5.
Maybe the coach isn’t the problem, maybe Auburn is the problem.

Lost to a bad FSU team, smoked by UGA in the SEC Championship, lost to an Oklahoma team without an offense.
Unless they win the National Championship they’ll have 8 losses and no championships in 2 seasons since that thread was started.

Poetic justice for all the Aubs that were salivating over the amount of Bama players entering the portal after Saban's retirement. Now the shoe is on the other foot with their coaching transition!
Still wait and see how they do in the portal upcoming but no doubt they are losing some star power and LOTS of depth, which I think hurt Bama the last couple years from that mass exodus.
