They act like loud blowhards on purpose. Why not be understated, like the great announcers?
The Tom guy on the Penn State/Clemson game started doing corporate business speak and talking about how the new Penn State coach's "visions are perfectly aligned with the school president" and "50,000 foot views" and shite.
There has to be a better way. I say do the SkyCast audio (no announcers) with the regular sideline view, when they pump in way more stadium noise and you can hear the PA announcer announce the results of the play.
