They could have put the game away

The pass had TD written all over it.

The dropped pass is embarrassing. Qb squirmed out of a collapsing pocket and drops it into his hands

Not taking the absolutely guaranteed first down plus 10-15 more yards.

The punter having his punt blocked by the belly of the largest player on the field. While that very large player was on all fours.

I would say the easy run for a first down. Field was wide open

You cannot blame mateer for choosing to throw a touchdown pass after evading a sack.

Not taking the 1st down plus about 15 more yards.

If you see an easy TD you take it

If you have an easy throw to a wide open WR to end a drive quickly…you take it. 100% the right play by Mateer

It was 3rd down, you take the 1st when they give it to you.

Good thing from what I am seeing is people are open everywhere two guys open on that play .

Man was wide open & the throw was on target.
That’s on the WR — hit his hands. Can’t believe anyone is even arguing this lol.
“Dropped the ball” is a figure of speech for a reason.

You absolutely have to take the first down, the guy was open but covered, way downfield and it was a tough throw

The drop.
He got alligator arms with no one there to hit him. All he had to do was reach out and it was a TD.

covered
If you think that was covered, I have never seen an open receiver.

Could have been 24-7
Now it’s tied 17-17 because of the dropped pass
