Aside from swing analysis (tweaking), Jay uses analytics heavily in his game day approach for the hitters - which pitch to look for, which to take, etc.
Perhaps our transfers haven't either bought in fully or have been struggling adjusting to this new approach? Thoughts?
P.S. It's entirely possible I'm trying to find a reason to believe we will start hitting the ball again.

is Derek Curiel. Last year, he was our most consistent and clutch hitter. When the alpha struggles, the rest of the pack follows.
Curiel may be pressing a little due to this being his contract year or he may miss Stanny in the lineup.
Whatever it is, he will figure it out and lead the way for the rest of the team.

Yesterday, Yorke and Simpson both looked shocked taking strike 3. With CJJ teaching an elite knowledge of the strike zone, do you think he includes this in his scouting report for the players?
