Yep...Ive said Texas A&M has 3 titles to LSU fans and only 1 title behind their 4 titles and for some reason LSU fans think Texas A&M have no titles.

Why didn’t they list Tulane and JMU?

Every title before 1998 is called a mythical national championship. You could go 0-11 and still win it. Just need votes.

Here’s the straight-up history on the last major football national championships for those two programs — not sugar-coating it:
Texas A&M University (Aggies)
Their last recognized college football national championship was way back in 1939. That’s the year the Aggies finished undefeated and were crowned national champions in the final AP Poll. There are some retroactive claims for early seasons (like 1919 and 1927), but 1939 is the last one widely accepted in the historical records. ?
University of Mississippi (Ole Miss Rebels)
Ole Miss last won a **college football national championship in 1962. They also claim titles in 1959 and 1960 as national champs under various historical rating systems, but 1962 is the most recent of the three. ?
If you’re thinking strictly in terms of modern College Football Playoff or AP/CFP era champs, neither school has won in that setup — their titles come from the older poll/selector systems before the playoff era.
That’s quite a drought

The one Ole Miss claims is not deserving.

Ole Miss
1959 10-1 / beat LSU in bowl game to avenge only loss
1960 10-0-1
1962 10-0
don't care if AP didn't vote for them, little thing going on in MS at that time that the National press didn't think to fondly of

It's because a lot of folks rag on titles before the modern era, and flat out don't acknowledge titles predating WW2.
