They’re the only 3 loss team to make it besides a Clemson team that had to win its conf championship game to get in.
They got molested by 21 in the conf champ and dropped zero spots. Makes sense..

For context, Alabama in 2023 was the one loss SEC champion (undefeated in SEC play) that defeated undefeated two time defending champion number 1 Georgia in the SEC championship game. In the Rose Bowl against eventual champion Michigan, we led most of the game and lost in overtime. If that scenario qualifies as sneaking in the playoff and getting spanked, then pretty much every time sneaks in and every loser gets spanked.

Only thing that really made sense was leaving Notre Dame out in favor of Miami - who beat ND head-to-head even though it was very early in the season. I got no problem w Bama getting in. They played a hell of a schedule! Texas and Vandy are both better than Tulane and James Madison. SEC was LOADED w great teams in 2025! LSU found out the hard way and lost to 5 of them! Props to the SEC! Half of the playoff field should have been SEC teams.
