Realistically, not message board BS: If Bama fires Deboer next year, would Kiffin leave?

I actually think LSU is a better job from a talent perspective. LA and AL produce similar NFL numbers. LA might be slightly more despite AL having a 10% higher population. The big thing though is Bama competed with Auburn for those recruits and LSU doesn’t. Bama just has the much longer history dating back which helps in out of state recruiting like California kids or something.

But could you see Kiffin doing that? I know lotta people would think yes because of what just happened, but Kiffin was at Ole Miss 6 years, not 10 months. In addition, the recruiting gap between LSU and Ole Miss is bigger than LSU to Bama from a talent perspective nearby and competition nearby.

I think it’d need to be at least 3 years for it to happen, maybe 4. 10 months to 1 year. I don’t.

Kiffin left a playoff team that might win a national championship.

I wouldn't put anything past him.

Bama even with DeBoer can take any Louisiana recruit we want.

Why would he want to live in Sabans shadow? Make your own legacy here.

It’d be the day before the playoffs and Reece Davis would say it’s the right thing to do

I have heard from many Gumps on this site that Bama has no interest in Kiffin.

They wouldn't want him. They've spent all week saying how bad he is.

Not true. Lane would tell Louisiana State to frick off in a hot second for the Alabama job.

Alabama's admin and power brokers think Lane is a slimy scumbag and won't hire him though.

So you did not want a top 5 recruit in the nation. Ok
