1,000 yard WR and now a 800 yard WR. Me likey.
8 to 10 for me. I know. Was even upwards of 25 during coach search.
2 reasons I think you’re wrong:

1st, I’d venture to say that maybe half of Chambliss passing yards are dependent on him being able to scramble outside the pocket. You can do that verse teams with average DL, but hard to do that verse Miami DL that just faced 2 top 5 offensive lines and compiled around 15 sacks and 20 TFLs

It’s not about rushing yards, but him being limited in expanding plays outside the tackles, but I could obviously be wrong. His game is relatively very low pocket passer, very high outside tackles.

2nd, Miami has 3 top 18 picks on their DL. I haven’t heard any DL getting drafted at UGA. Most Miami’s DL is top half first round nfl picks.

I could be 100% wrong. I just see Chambliss passing yards and rushing yards go down because he won’t be able to scramble outside the tackles.

Little do the down voters know that he put up significantly better stats than all remaining QBs in portal.

73% completion rate
8.0 YPA (I think this is by far the most important stat for a passing QB)
3:1 TD to INT ratio

That blows Leavitt out the water pre injury
How many LSU guys have committed to another team?

That’ll tell me if we’re just early in portal window, or we really have nobody if half our former players are committed elsewhere.
Aside from Indiana, Miami is the worst matchup in CFP for Ole Miss, because Miami D Line. Ole Miss is completely dependent verse very good teams on Chambliss scrambling ability. Like 100% dependent on it to win. Miami D Line is filthy with 16 sacks and 20 TFLs in the CFP. I’m excited to watch this game, but I’d enjoy seeing Chambliss get shut down by guys 60 pounds heavier than him haha.

And they did that verse 2 top 5 OLs in college this year.

Indiana’s to lose.

I don’t care how well Ole Miss or Miami has been. Indiana will win by double digits verse either. Seeing what they did to Bama. Ole Miss has more or less been equal to Bama in SEC play.. and Bama got shithoused

At least you can finally say you’ve appeared in a Nati in 65 years, but it’s Indiana’s to lose.
What’d we truly miss out on? Soresby and Chambliss (who may not get eligibility and even if, may ride the hot hand to the nfl. I’d say greater than 50% chance he isn’t in CF next year). Long wayyys away. Nobody knew shite about Lacy or Chambliss this time last year. Lane knows how to scout.

I am glad we have 26 players, majority offensive players, leaving. As they were all horrible besides TreyDez Green, the Center from VT, and Harlem Berry if he can not fumble. Those are the only 3 I want starting on offense next year.
Raiola really isn’t bad. 73% and 8.0 YPA is very good. 3:1 TD to INT ratio.

My wishlist:
Byrum Brown
Dylan Raiola
Sam Leavitt

Out of all these QBs, Byrum Brown and Raiola have the best stats. Highest YPA. That’s the key metric that deciphers the good from the bad in QB play. It accounts for everything you need to know. YPA. Along Brown running.
How do you make this list and leave out who I think is the best QB, Byrum Brown of USF that is not committed officially now? No excuses. Be better. At life.
His run game was absolutely atrocious. With a solid run game I imagine he’d do better

You don’t know that Golding is a good head coach. He was literally handed the entire team and coaching staff built by Kiffin 3 weeks ago. None of Ole Miss roster and playcalls were made by him.

If he does it next year or the year after that, then yes. But he’s not responsible for any of the head coach success in building this roster or play call development.

Kiffin is still the ultimate reason for their current success. Whoever found Chambliss is really the ultimate reason.
2011: LSU and Bama
2021: Georgia and Bama
2025: Georgia and Ole Miss
Makes me think Indiana doing it twice willl be very hard.
I think there’s others but I can’t remember.

Only single one I remember to do it is 2024 Texas and Georgia

This is why despite Indiana being the better team, I think it’s near impossible to beat a top 5 team 2x in one season
No way were they gonna call an offsides or jump infraction on that. Crowd would’ve lost their minds after a missed kick
GD that’s best NFL game I’ve seen in a long time
Ramsey horribly misplayed that ball. Should’ve been a batted ball. Him and FG kicker cost this game
Lamar could’ve ran or thrown that 2nd down for an easy first down therefore likely winning the game. Ouch
That was fantastic blocking by OL on that TD. Each man had their man locked up.
81 should’ve been able to reach out there for a TD.
How’d that 81 not reach out for TD? Come on man
