Different when you’ve locked up a playoff spot
If Alabama gets completely destroyed, they could get screwed, it’s a longshot, but they have to be worried about it

In a season where there was some great football in Conference, and the scorn thrown all off-season at Alabama, it's nice to see the king back playing for the top dog spot.
In the thread to start the season, I called BAMA to win the SEC this year despite a majority going towards Tejas and/or Georgia.

Where is LSU?
Where is Lane?

Loser mentality. Give me any chance we can get to further stack our trophy case.

A&M and Ole Miss were the real winners here. As it stands you’ll get a home game against a G5 school or at worst Virginia.
As much as I like SEC championships, the goal these days is win it all, and I think Georgia would agree we’d much rather have a home game against an overmatched team than what is essentially our first playoff game against one of the toughest teams in it.
The current playoff structure really argues against conference championship games.
I wouldn’t mind seeing the top 4 seeds being conference champs, but we should have teams with a play in game if we’re going to keep them who are ranked in the top 20 or so depending on who is playing in the conference games.

The SECCG is useless game and Bama would be better off sitting at home and resting for the playoffs. .

It’s not a loser mentality when the doors already closed. We are not playing in the game this weekend. Therefore I am happy to watch it on my couch.
That’s not anything other than common sense and logic

Lane Kiffin will be a guest on Gameday so I guess Ole Miss fans can check in here too.
