According to our recruiting guys, this fella kept his scholarship offer, but Alabama took the financial package off the table.

Good for him. I love it when the interesting whites do well.

In that case, can I interest you in the CCU?

That's the Caucasian Collision Unit consisting of Oregon's Bryce Boettcher (ILB) and Dillon Thieneman (S):

Trolled themselves, Vandy was an older squad with an easy schedule. Smoke and mirrors. Why they aren't even being discussed for the playoffs.

Same ole vandy.

Nothing in college football has changed at all.

Of course they are. Mississippi State just picked them up as a permanent. Years of them sucking and we barely played them.

If a team wants to get good in a few years, schedule MSU. Arizona State rising, Kansas State’s rebound in the late 2010’s, West Virginia in the early 2000’s, Oklahoma State in the early 2010s, Oregon’s rise in the late 90’s…. Minnesota will probably go back to the 2019 Minnesota team next year.

Cabell was kid we didn’t offer nil money to so it would be pretty easy for anyone to snag him

Say what you want but UGA can’t keep elite qbs …. I don’t understand for the life of me why a qb wouldn’t wanna stay committed to UGA . Just imagine if they had the best qbs ever year how good they would be .

I have mixed feelings about this.

Plenty of potential but would more than likely not start for Georgia next season.

Every single player that Kirby has recruited out of high school since he arrived in 2016 has earned either an SEC championship ring, a natty ring, or both.

Kirby's coaching record as a head coach is 117 - 20.

Yeah, considering how much talent UGA has sent to the NFL, if I didn’t know better logic would lead me to believe there’d be more QBs. Not so.

Stafford and Bennett are all I can think of on active rosters right now; and not many have stayed for long.

Depends on what you mean by elite? If you mean top 1 or 2 in a class at that position, you are correct.

But:
Ryan Montgomery .9408 4*
Ryan Pugilisi .9487 4*

Are both still on the roster along with
Gunner Stockton .9506 4*

I think we will do fine. But, yes, we have had two QB's that should be very good turn us down.

Raiola and Curtis

I think they will be excellent QBs, but we are doing ok without them.

Because they get promised immediate playing time at other schools and we’re not going to do that. Would you guarantee an 18 yr old HS kid a start over Stockton? And likewise we don’t want to pay boucoup money to a kid to ride the bench.

No one is "guaranteed" to be a starter, especially at that position. (At least, you'd be a fool to believe it.) But obviously you're going to feel better about your chances if you're not competing against a returning starter coming off of a successful season.

If you're not playing at Bama it is because Bama does not want you.

I can promise you Vandy guaranteed him playing time. That’s literally the reason he went there.

Lea probably told him that Diego’s 8th season of eligibility had been approved by the NCAA.
