You could be the best team in the world.

But if you lose a game, everybody think you suck.

As though you never won a game in your life.

But once you win a game, everybody and everything right back on the track.

As though you never lost a game.

Just like in 2020 when we won 8 in a row after losing to Bama and ND got pummeled by Clemson in their last game only to stay ahead of us to get in the Playoff anyway.

I can deal with whatever crap the Committee comes up with, life isn't fair. That said these folks are a joke. My favorite example from this week was how they were talking about why Bama was rated higher and they were saying they liked their playcalling in the 2nd half against Auburn. Only problem is playcalling isn't supposed to have shite to do with anything in terms of how the committee decides on who to place up or down.

They are a group of people with conflicts of interest and little true football knowledge just doing whatever they want. It is what it is. At least A&M will be in the Playoff and will end up getting a home game to start.

It’s pretty easy to find something in life to bitch about. I’m more excited that my university is in the CFP for the first time. Let’s go.

It’s been a fun season.

And it’s not over.

We didn’t lose (to Penn State or anywhere else) the guy we want to continue leading us … who is only in his second year.

I’d say it’s been a damn good year.

(and we’re not 8-4)

The Baylor AD who had to leave the committee was supposed very vocal on keeping A&M low. He was the main guy saying our SoS was weaker than Ohio State or Indiana.

This. Even if we drop another spot to 8 (say Bama beats UGA), I'd be fine with a home game against OU for the right to go to the Rose Bowl to play Ohio State.

The committee is obviously throwing out bs as a smokescreen. Bartoo and Adam McClintock have accurately predicted the committee rankings over the last several years using metrics they claim the committee uses. Nobody could do that if the committee actually used the nonsense reasons they spout on their show.

A lawyer is a creature who can take one set of facts and argue it either for or against. A really good lawyer is one who can make anyone believe either version. The CPF are three levels below the former.

Yep. Don't get me wrong, I'd be thrilled if A&M was benefiting and I'm sure at some point we will. Doesn't change the fact the committee is a joke and trying to parse the BS they spout as being what they are going to do is a fool's errand but it gives us all something to do.

Texas A&M will always get the brunt of jokes because of reputation but they finally reached one goal and that’s to get to the CFP. I know they don’t want to settle for less but they are on the correct path on building a sustainable program that can compete at a high level. Aggies should be celebrated for where they are compared to what they’ve been from post-Slocum through Fisher.

Agree! Keep building up and we will be fine. Playoff appearance after a projected 9-3 or 8-4 season is great.

Apply that same methodology to the other one-loss teams.
Break down their schedules/opponents.
I’ll give you a hint: The target is a moving one with regard to the committee’s logic.

Time to move on. And win. Zero pity needed.

This is so true for Georgia.

When they first lost to Bama, errbody says "yoo suck Georgia" and they felt like they did.

Then they win their next game. Everybody be like "yoo sooo good Gorgia!".

How will everyone see them on Saturday night?

Saturday night's all right for fighting. The guy in Atlanta says that in a song he wrote a long time ago.

We have to earn respect before we ecpect others to give it to us. We have simply failed too many times to be trusted with a high seeding.

I think the committe was spot on. We are the worst one loss team in the field.

That isn’t the point of the topic. In other years, TAMU would lose those kind of games. Aggies are back to what they were from 1991-1994.
