Give these guys a chance. I get they’re not really splash hires but all the toxicity towards them will become a set-fulfilling prophecy. Just give them a shot. If it doesn’t work out, then melt. They haven’t even coached a game and you’re ready to run them out of town. It’s just sad.

You are correct but I’m very happy for them both to be in the cellar

Silverfield was underwhelming, but from what I've seen most of the anger is directed at our AD who has been embarrassing himself on national TV after fumbling yet another coaching search.

The total Arkansas nuclear meltdown surprised me. Like, it literally can’t get any worse than Pittman, and you’re porn bombing and getting rid of season tickets because of Silverfield?

It absolutely can. See the hire that preceded him.

Hell, Pittman was fired with a better record than Bert.

Posted by someone that's a fan of a team that essentially never has to worry about this. Classic.

If LSU would've hired anyone of these guys you would be melting. Stop trolling

I wouldn't have melted over Sumrall or Golesh. I actually like everything I've seen from them. I would have gone 3 mile island if we had hired Silverfield.

Have you seen his teams play? 1 point better than the worst Arkansas team in 40 years isn’t getting me wet

I'm willing to give Silverfield a chance and won't ever root against the hogs. I'm pissed at Yurachek for putting Arkansas fans in the position accept another underwhelming hire.

The CFP installed him as Head of the Committee as they're aware that as long as he is the AD, Arkansas will never be in contention to make the playoff thus no chance of a conflict of interest.

We are mad about the way the search was handled. Silverfield is doing well in less than a week so far. Hog fans are likely to do our usual song and dance of be discontented until the season starts and then crow about making it to a bowl after last year.

If SIlverfield can put on the field the reversal of fortune he just did with our recruiting class we will be happy until we know his ceiling.
