Ashton Daniels is a stud and should have been starting over Arnold. But rumor has it the reason that Freeze couldn’t change QBs is that the guy who paid for Arnold dictated that he be the starter.

No one saw Freeze getting cancer and having a spiritual moment while quiet quitting. It worked go our advantage though.

Not a stud by any stretch of the imagination but he was definitely better than Jackson Arnold.

Well he’s returning next season.
Freeze’s RPO was completely broken. We abandoned it when he got fired and looked improved.

Because there was no meddling. Jackson Arnold was Freeze’s choice-Daniel’s was just for depth.
All Freeze talked about during the offseason was how talented Arnold was, and just like he did with Thorne, his stubbornness to see that was not the case cost him his job.

I was thinking earlier what the odds could possibly be that we would finish 1-7 given our position at certain points in the games we lost. It has to be less than 1%.

Not if Golesh's QB at USF is coming with him.
He is one of few QBs ever to put up 3k passing and 1k rushing yards in a season.

Ashton is really smart and processes information really quickly. What he lacks in passing mechanics can be fixed by a decent coach who doesn’t play golf all the time.
