Win...and we might still have work to do to get in to the playoffs. It isn't right getting penalized for playing an extra game, but there it is.

But the Barn has us in a bad spot. On the road, and if they win let's look at worse case.

We definitely miss the playoffs, and go to some bowl where likely half the team opts out vs some team who sees this as their Super Bowl. On top of that there's chatter about our Head Coach could bolt for greener pastures, and we know we are losing one assistant and should we lose the head man I'd bet both coordinators leave.

We'd be lucky to have anyone left to answer the phones. Goodbye recruiting class. We gotta win guys.

Deboer isn’t leaving with a loss to the barn. Some might wish he would leave but this is a bad year in the coach acquisition market. His seat will be hot next year if he falls short that is for sure. If he misses the playoffs this and next season I think it’s over for him.

I'm throwing worst case scenario out there. the bowl deal would come to pass it will be another failed season should we lose.

I'd rate the coach moving on at less than 10% but if theres something out there and he sees that seat getting too hot next year, it's possible.

Settle down, you act like the world is burning. I seriously doubt CKD is leaving and we’re not losing to Auburn unless we turn the ball over three times again.

You guys have to stop expecting the worst.

I don't. We are the better team. But in this game on that field the best team does not always win, and we have not played well as of late.

No way Oklahoma was better than us. You see how that turned out. We have to play better offensively.

If we get average to good Ty and avoid turnovers we probably win.

If we get bad Ty or a bunch of turnovers we will lose.

Tonight is a major pivot point for the program post Saban and anyone pretending otherwise is lying or whistling past the graveyard.

If we beat Auburn we are in the playoff regardless of the sec championship outcome.

Agree which is why I think this game is so big.

Win the SECCG and we are building momentum and filling up the program prestige tank, but we’re already in the CFP and on a positive trajectory regardless.

Win the Iron Bowl and we lock up a spot in the CFP, DeBoer gets an extension, PSU goes away and regardless of what happens from there we’re locking up a great recruiting class and entering portal season with major momentum and positive energy.

Lose the Iron Bowl and the momentum is gone, we have to listen to an offseason of major griping and all the “is Bama dead” garbage. Absolute worst case DeBoer goes to PSU and we have to chase down a coach after a month of coaching chaos.

We need to win tonight and I believe we will. Gonna find out what the team is made of today.

If Bama loses tonight and misses the playoffs this year, his coaching seat is scorching hot next year. Miss the playoffs again next year, he will be gone. Period.

Yeah, we turned the ball over three times. If the turnover differential is -3 for this game, we will lose. Thats the case for 75-85% games we play.

That’s absolutely right. We have everything to lose. We better play with our hair on fire like our lives depend on it.

I’ll feel more confident with an Oklahoma & Miami loss today for starters.

Bama wins today and plays Uga and loses, Bama falls in the at large bid picks. Im not saying you’re wrong but this committee seems to have an agenda and biased towards certain teams. Need to win the next two games and piss this committee off.

If we beat Oklahoma we are in the play offs and the out come of this game would not enter into the play off picture. All of a sudden this is the biggest game ever. Auburn can kill our play off hopes and rightfully so. Even with a win we could miss the play offs if we lose in the SEC game. Georgia is in the SEC game and A&M is out. Can Ole Miss get in the SEC game over us? I really do not see why not.

If we’re being realistic, this is the only scenario in which Bama is 100% in. Anyone saying otherwise is simply wishcasting (as has been discussed in several other threads).

We almost doubled them up in yards.

Bama losing to OU based on advanced analytics was one of the biggest statistical anomalies of the entire season.

Hell Ty was on track for close to 500 yards passing at halftime.
