Its almost like Tennessee fans have been saying this for years. These coaches have forgotten their places. LSU and Florida will both end up having more success than Lane Kiffin. Coaches used to remember they are caretakers of the programs but now think they are the programs

I don't think so, if he was doing this to do the hero's return, he put himself in a vulnerable spot if the team underperforms in the playoffs.
The Ole Miss public with rightfully blame him for causing unnecessary distractions that contributed to the poor performance, completely wiping out any good will this "hero's return" stunt would garner.
