The whole final drive was just weird

No sense of urgency whatsoever. I don’t get it.

Did the same thing against South Carolina.
Only difference was we didn't get sacked on the drive putting us behind the sticks.

Offensive coaches were too worried about sign stealing to put in a good gameplan. Yea, player execution sucked at times, but the plan was garbage. ou out-adjusted us by 100%.
Offensive coaches not earning their huge checks.

The whole idea of trying to score with 0:00 on the clock is stupid. Just play your game, score however you can and then play defense.

Agree…we should have just gone to the 2 minute offense, getting the ball out quick on safe passes. Wasn’t happy about targeting RW on the 4th down play…too inconsistent lately.

Exactly. Go to two minute drill and score. Defense was playing great.

Ty’s miss on second down was a killer.

Ty has to learn sometimes when it isnt there you throw the ball away. The Pick Six Fumble and Sack were all caused by trying to do too much and holding onto the ball.
He's plainly pressing..he needs to relax and just play football.

We were playing like we needed to save our defense instead of like our defense was playing lights out, which it was.
Ty holding the ball for too long cost us.

It’d be nice if we could snap the ball with over 10 seconds on the play clock every once in a while

The lack of urgency I agree with 100%. We were not in an utterly desperate situation where we needed to be doing crazy things, but it didn’t seem like we were focused in any way on what we needed to be doing.
As far as the play calling, I may be talking out my arse, won’t be the first time, but I will again raise the possibility of Grubb feeling limited in what he could call because of a lack of confidence that Ty could execute it.

Even at the beginning of the drive, the feeling was weird. Just a field goal could win it but with Simpson so shaky and the offensive line playing so poorly it never really felt that they had a chance.

I couldn’t tell on the fumble. Not sure if he held the ball too long but I didn’t put that one on him.
He’s a good QB. Glad to have him. He was a couple inches off from smoking LSU.
Very disappointing tonight when we overcame the turnovers and missed FG and just couldn’t get another score.

Ty has gone backward 3 weeks in a row. Perhaps what we're seeing now is the normal Ty.
I blame him for not seeing that the OL is outnumbered on the right-side time and time again, yet he doesn't speed up his mind and get the ball out or just run up the middle for whatever he can get. Instead, he gets sacked and fumbles.
The biggest problem that is preventing this team from being elite instead of just good is we don't have an elite RB on the roster. 4 is better than 26 but neither can even see elite from where they are. Zero speed.
