SEC needs to address the officiating this offseason

No, I'm not going to say they cost LSU the game; LSU loses that regardless. But the refs were a joke. I'm sure Bama fans can find a bunch of bad calls too.
How do you miss the unsportsmanlike conduct, unneccessary roughness call on the LSU WR getting slung down way out of bounds early in the game?
How do you have to review 3 offensive plays in a 5-6 play stretch, in a single offensive series- are the onfield refs just that bad?
How does the back judge overrule the guy staring at the ball straight down the line on the touchback/non-touchback? And you don't have endzone cameras on both sides of the field to show it?
What's the ref even doing counting players in the endzone 10 seconds after the play is over, before calling an illegal formation penalty?
Bama fans may ignore that since they won, but it's pathetic. The SEC is bigtime, we need competency from the officials, not a clown show.

Why should they? It has been bad for decades and they are still raking in the money.

Still don't know why LSU fans complain about this. You do realize that he was trying to give y'all a chance at off-setting penalties, right?

What calls dis they get wrong?

All of the plays were kinda odd looking that's why. I wouldn't want them to decline to review something important just because they already just did a review. It's kind of annoying when reviews pile up but sometimes it's necessary, some games have more close calls than others and they aren't always neatly distributed.
Regardless it's not been a banner year for the refs, all over college football really.
The SEC had two extremely noticable botches (the OU sideline fake substitution TD shite and Kirby Smarts "clapping" timeout).
There were other incidents outside the SEC too. The Wake Forest/ GA tech game was pretty eggregious.

TBH refs are worse than the Big 12 refs were. Shouldn’t be the case.. some Big 12 refs “graduated” to the nfl. The SEC refs look like they may be sent back to HS….. with the revelations about the NBA being a crooked game the SEC needs to vastly improve the refs to maintain credibility.
The OU play was the Ole Miss play and by rule legal.
The refs failures are the basics lack of consistency in PI and Holding

Need investigation in corruption at the Sec offices.

That 2 point conversation in the TX/Vandy game was suspect AF.

There was no way the conference was letting you win that game. Too much on the line.

Address what? Those officials are just doing what they are told.

Yep, you could see that was the case early in the first. I called it out early in the game thread. Then Bama didn't get penalized the first three quarters of the game.

This one infuriated me the most, because the one being adamant about it was the one whose view was obstructed by the player making the play. He had absolutely no right to make that call and should have deferred to the guy with direct sight, but this is the SEC and they are corrupt.

Needed to call a penalty because someone blew their whistle assuming too many men. When he couldn't find that, they called a false start to cover their asses and make sure they got what they wanted.

The first one was the only one that was clear as day and didn't need to be reviewed at all. The fact they stopped the game for that one was the egregious part. The other two were corrected to the right call, so you can't really complain. The slide one was ticky tack, but unfortunately correct.
In the end, SEC refs cannot be that incompetent. You can't continue to just claim "refs are human and make mistakes" at this point, and it is clearly some corruption.
I don't think it's specifically for Bama over everyone, but rather teams they want to see succeed so that they can get them the most money. Look at the UGA Auburn game. It was so bad that they had to punish the refs for being so obvious.

One more reason to pull AGAINST the gumpers.

Were you guys complaining about refs when Bryce Young got hit late and to the head vs tenn a few years back? When Bama had like 17 penalties to 6?
Or how about when Bama had future nfl players on the dline in 2016 and not one team held them all year?
As far as the endzone cameras Bama has 2 like all teams however one of the refs was blocking one side and the player was blocking the other. There was no way to overturn it or really to confirm it.
The refs counting players was them confirming there wasn't offsetting penalties. And because ABC does a shite job of playing everything back we can't confirm anything.
Probably should have been a roughing on the throw out of bounds.
Basically this was a typical sec ref night.
