We deperstely need a rb in the transfer portal.

Jam is Ken Darby part two... and geting worse.
Mr. bucket step.

The fact is both guys are slow.

I personally think the gsme we are overlooking is Oklahoma. We would not have beaten Oklahoma tonight.

Our biggest advantage right now is we are probably better than we look...which is not too good.

I haven't...been worried that their defense would systematically dismantle us for months.

Yall need to stop shitting on my man. He was our entire offense even with them running him right up the center’s arse 40 times a game.

I’m in constant amazement at the number of rival fans who troll this board along with others and our social media accounts. Imagine spending your entire life trolling a rival team’s fans. It takes someone mentally unwell to make that kind of dedication.

Right... because clearly the only people who notice our problems are those damn pesky Auburn fans. Our actual fans must be too busy seeing sunshine and rainbows to notice any glaring concerns plaguing our team. I guess our coaches are turning a blind eye to the fact that our running game is atrocious too?

I mentioned this on the game thread last night, but I think that DeBoer is probably set at redeeming the losses last year. Vandy and TN I felt the team played with more awareness and intentionality to not repeat last year’s mistakes. The OU loss was one of the most embarrassing ones out of all of them and absolutely knocked us out of playoff contention. I’m hoping if nothing else, this has him circling that game and getting prepared for it. Yeah, the game last night was lackluster, but we all know that DeBoer teams kinda cater to the level of their opponent. My hope is that the OU game they will come out with the mindset of not letting the disaster that was the 2024 happen again. Idk, I’m definitely wary of the game, but I am gonna hope they are dialed in for it.

ckd isnt the one i'm worried about. i'm far more concerned about grubb going brain dead, as he tends to do in every game.

We're basically inviting teams to crush us in the box and bring pressure by not having a deep pass threat and seemingly rarely opting for quick hitting routes. With the quick hitters, I'm a bit concerned that it's just something Ty and the receivers don't have a feel for. I see the routes there sometimes, but the connection isn't there.

If we would just feed Daniel Hill the ball I think it would be serviceable. Not great but solid

This is certainly true, and indisputable.

This alone won't solve the problem.

What did Glen Coffee, Mark Ingram, Trent Richardson, Eddy Lacy, TJ Yeldon, Derrick Henry, Damien Harris, Josh Jacobs, and Najee Harris all have in common?

They all ran behind multiple first team All Americans and first round draft choices.

Even Glen Coffee had Andre Smith, Mike Johnson, and Antoine Caldwell.

I believe that Dear is the guy as well. Jam is looking for holes that aren't there instead of just running

Yep, the one guy they won't even talk about or give a chance to.

I don't get it.

OL is the issue more that at RB, can’t run block or give Ty protection.

Maddening! I’ve been saying the same thing. He def should be getting a few reps a game at the very least.

Doesn’t matter who the RB is with the current OL.

The TD run by #4 shows he is the guy that should be getting most of the work. There was a crack, and he hit it with no juking like 26 does every carry.

Revert to the pistol more than we do with #4 running. #26 is just an average RB.

Proctor and Brailsford are day one and two rounds projections. The guards, scheme, running backs, and coaches are who to blame.

Re>schemes, so DeBoer and Grubb should simply drop what they’ve spent their entire careers doing because they came somewhere that didn’t have the personnel to execute what they do, instead of trying to remake the personnel to bring it in line with what they do? Which takes time.

And Proctor probably will be a first-day choice, but again he’s 180 degrees removed from the kind of offensive linemen DeBoer and Grubb want to run their stuff, no matter how many stars are attached to his name.
