If the SEC wins the National Championship this year it will be by Ole Miss' doing.

And Kiffin is as elite as Kirby or Ryan Day.

The only drawback i can see for them winning it is the never having been there before. They certainly have the talent to do so though.

Eh. Our defensive secondary is lacking this season. I think our fans are about ready to try to buyout Sage Ryan's NIL.

MORE elite.

How many teams are openly crying for Kirby or Day to come save them?

Ole Miss isn’t good enough defensively, imo. Neither is Georgia, but OM especially struggles.

We don't struggle as much as you think we do. We just decided to run a really really really bad scheme against UGA.

You just talked about how the secondary is a problem two posts above mine.

No, our defense certainly has issues but we are capable. The UGA game is not a good picture of what our defense is on average. That was by far their worst game.

I think Jimbo is the only coach I can recall that was pulled from a school where they won a national championship to another school.

Plenty of teams would be glad to have either of those two, but they're absolutely locked down in destination jobs. Ole Miss is a good job, but it isn't a destination job.

Nope. Without the hardware (not even an SEC) you can't say he is as elite as Kirby and Ryan. He's a great coach, but those guys have brought it home at the highest level.

If that changes, then you will have a talking point.

Nothing. It's the fact Auburn was Kiffin's daughter away grabbing that success.
