My question from the beginning is, “Who are we getting?” As it still is.

Yeah but what is Kelly’s winning percentage? Asking for a Rant poster.

Kirby is responsible for most of these records.

Also OP.
quote:
Auburn is without a doubt improved this season… it may not show up in the W/L column due mostly to getting screwed by officials… but this team is the best team we’ve had since 2019.
quote:
Huge road win. This Arky team was -3 against Tennessee -3 against Texas A&M -6 against Ole Miss Auburn walks in to Fayetteville and gives the Hogs their worst SEC loss of the season. 9-point win.
quote:
I think we might be overreacting. While there is no doubt our offensive performance yesterday was abysmal, it’s worth keeping in mind that Auburn is 3-2 with both losses coming by 7 points or less against soon to be Top 6 opponents.
quote:
Absolutely schedule has to do with it. Tell me with facts where my OP is wrong. My point is that if Drinkwitz, Lee, Lebby, Heupel, etc had all faced our exact schedule, they too would be 3-2. Conversely, had Auburn faced their schedules, Hugh would be 4-1 or 5-0 and ranked in this week’s AP Poll.
quote:
Y’all love to complain about Freeze as if there were better options at the time. So who would have been better? Who in 2022 that was willing to take the job would have been better? And who will be better for next year? Why don’t you tell us a constructive plan instead of only complaining about the current team and players?
quote:
Literally Freeze, Lashlee, and Dillingham all have a common opponent this season and Freeze’s team had the most success.
quote:
You are being disingenuous by pretending that any coach could have done much better in the first two seasons considering the Harsin debacle that had to be overcome… and you’re being disingenuous to pretend we had better options to begin with after firing two coaches in two years.
quote:
I’m judging this team on this season. Period. We were an SEC officiating screw-up away from being 4-0 and ranked in the Top 15 after four weeks.
quote:
With that said, it’s amazing to me how some of the preferred replacements are revered as huge upgrades compared to Freeze and yet, they would have been run off by our crazy fan base with their actual resume.
quote:
So what is your answer, retard? Who is going to come in and take the job and do better than what we’ve got now?

Historically a .500 winning percentage is considered exceptional
Jo Paterno .521 against 500 or better opponents @ PSU
Bobby Bowden .541 against .500 or better opponents @ FSU
Tom Osborne . 607 against .500 or better opponents @ Nebraska
Saban at .694 is the highest of all time ( with more than 100 games)
