We all focus on the coaches. But the AD’s have a lot to do with who the coach is.

Who is the worst AD in the conference and why?

Missouri's AD. Seems self explanatory.

Was Ray Tanner, the best example of Great Coach - Terrible AD.

Used to be Bjork the dork but fortunately he’s Ohio State’s problem now

Woodward hired a shitty basketball coach and Brian Kelly, but he also has hired Jay Johnson (maybe the best hire across all sports in the SEC recently) and Kim Mulkey.

Ray Tanner has to be the choice here.

Hiring Jay Johnson and Mulkey eliminates him from any conversation of being "the worst".

He certainly wouldn't be listed amongst "the best".

inB4 emotional fricks start yelling about Kelly's contract.

It's got to be Auburn's, right? Hugh has been a disaster. And they just hired a coach for their suddenly big-time basketball program because his dad was really good.

Are you serious? He just got an SEC official fired. That puts him ahead of the vast majority of ADs.

Somehow still Bjork, which I admit seems impossible given that he's not in the SEC anymore. But still seems like Bjork.

He was in an impossible position hiring a basketball coach after Will Wade. No one was gonna be happy. Brian Kelly was not a bad hire, the contract he gave him was not great though.

The Aggy AD ran off two of their most successful coaches ever (Buzz and Schloss). Sounds like a real jerk to work for.

Wouldnt be surprised if Elmo leaves because of him too.
