Where Would Auburn Rank In Attractiveness?

Let’s say Auburn has a head coaching vacancy. How does that job stack up against other current openings in terms of attractiveness?
Penn State
Florida
Arkansas
UCLA
Oklahoma State
Oregon State
Virginia Tech
Stanford
Colorado State
UAB
Kent State
I would rank the Auburn job as the 4th or 5th most attractive. Could be as high as 3rd or as low as 7th. What does the Rant think?
If Auburn is such an attractive job, why have they not been able to lure established, really successful P5 coaches to Auburn in the past?

Behind PSU and UF. Quit trolling on a Tuesday.

Probably third after PSU and Florida.

If you want one final payday before you kill your career, then Auburn is pretty high on the list. Might be a good final stop for Brian Kelly.

I don't know man, seems nice.

Florida would be my only clear-cut program above them out of that list. I could see Penn St tied, above or below them depending on who you asked. They're above everyone else IMO.

When you consider their recent track record of hiring and firing, it's not a very attractive job at all.

Equal with Florida behind Penn St.
Neither UF or Auburn have proven they know how to build rosters and win in the post Covid era of college football.

Third. But a lot closer to fourth than they’d like to admit. Arkansas is probably a big NIL contribution away. But, that’s the way the sport is going for all of us right now. Did anyone expect Indiana would have the third highest paid coach?

Tell me why Auburn is more attractive than Arkansas, UCLA, and Virginia Tech.

Id put auburn and Florida both as 1...Penn state is a good job, but they dont have success like the 2 previous.

Why do you think Auburn is so attractive to coaches? Is it being sandwiched between Alabama and Georgia; playing second fiddle to both? Is it the backstabbing backroom deals, ones meant to cripple the coach professionally and personally? Is it the boosters who have every intention of running the program? Is it the string of horrible athletic directors? Is it the last 5 years of ineptitude as a program? Is it the fact they have failed to even post a winning record 20 out of the last 50 seasons?
If it is such an attractive job, explain why they have been unable to lure a big name coach to Auburn for the last 100 years.
