Every minute he continues to be employed is a big FU to anyone that supports Auburn, cheers for Auburn, works for Auburn, or plays/played for Auburn. They are showing you how much they care about you.

And we will blindly support them no matter how bad we are treated. We'll tell you FU if you even suggest not going to an Auburn game. We want them to piss on our heads and tell us its raining.

Mortensen at UAB has coached one game ever. He has as many Top 25 wins as Hugh Freeze has in his tenure at Auburn.

Good lord.

I honestly don't know what we are waiting on? It's obvious his decision making is not where it needs to be. Play calling in OT was horrendous. Trotting out McPherson for a 50 yarder was inexcusable. We lose because he is a loser coach and Arnold is a loser QB.

No sauces but it’s obvious to me we’re waiting until after the iron bowl for some reason I do not understand.

So he can get enough patsy wins to set up a potential Iron Bowl win and lose in OT.

Our dumbass boosters (and honestly most fans) would be happy with that outcome.

No statement from the AD means it could be in the works.

If we got a statement of support then I would think he's here next year no matter what

I believe it’ll be the Sunday after the Vandy game.

The only plausible reason I have heard is to let him finish the year and immediately "resign" wether its "due to health concerns" or something like that while they work out a reduced buyout behind the scenes.

Its just a theory I've heard from a few people but it would make sense.

In your wet dreams.

Interesting enough Harsin's offense at Cal is doing worst than Auburn's offense in scoring and total offense.

How that is possible I have no clue but that's your boy!

That is a pretty low bar. I mean, I guess getting punched in the nuts 3 times is better than 4?

Yet he couldnt meet it.

He cant even do better than Freeze offensively in 2025.

Didnt realize yall considered losing with Jyaire Shorter at WR by three TDs at home so much better.

ackshuallyy

we’re dead even statistically in both categories

Cal is #93 in scoring (23.7 ppg)
AU is #94 (23.6 ppg)

Cal is #104 in total offense (343 ypg)
AU is #109 (335 ypg)

all of Cal’s top offensive talent hit the portal when they hired Meathead, they are ranked the 36th most talented team on 247sports.com

AU is allegedly blessed with the 13th most talented roster

Freezus has been here almost three full seasons and Harsin has already caught up with him

For the sake of the comparison, Cal has not played a single ranked opponent. Worth noting as well. They suck against terrible teams. We suck against not as terrible teams.

Conclusion: We suck

Hugh is not getting fired, besides making the fans feel better what is the advantage of firing Hugh today. The firing will happen after the next loss or at the end of the season.

Have the talent to salvage some wins. See UCLA and UAB for recent references.

Freeze said he hasn’t spoken to Cohen since Saturday. That’s because Cohen has been putting out feelers. Freeze will get a chance to save his job, but him not making any staff or personnel changes during the bye week wasn’t a good look for someone that’s promising he can fix things. At this point, if he loses another game, I think he’ll be offered a nice severance package to step down for “health reasons” and save face.

Looks like we might need Petrino to finish him. The irony isn't lost on me.
