The problem with LSU fans is they have unrealistic expectations. My goodness, Brian Kelly is one of the most successful active coaches, win % wise, in FBS football.
This is his 21st season as a head coach and he is hovering around 72% wins vs. 28% losses. That is fantastic for any fans not deluded by their own unreasonable dreams of greatness.
Orgeron, the marble mouthed magician, is not coming back to lead LSU back in time to the greatest football team ever to exist in this history of the whole entire world in any period of time. All that is over, cope, learn to accept it.
Les Miles, the lovable retard, ain't coming back either. Those days of LSU having rugged, tough, old-fashioned road grading offenses and stifling defenses are long gone.
All of you should be fricking grateful to have Kelly. Whoever you get after him is going to be worse.

frick that. LSU has 3 tiles in the last 25 years and played for a 4th. No reason that LSU should accept a 28-35 record against the Top 25. Even the homerist of you cousin frickers knows this.

It's as if you read my post, ate a crawdad, thought about it and then proceeded to confirm every single point I made.
The halcyon days of grandeur are long gone for LSU. The unrealistic and unreasonable fans of that team need to accept this and move on.
You've got a good coach; don't run him off with ignorant coonass blathering and complaining. Brian Kelly is a stalwart among current FBS coaches and you ingrates should be more thankful you have him.

Good point, but it is also worth noting that when he coached at Notre Dame he wasn’t facing SEC schedules and competition every year.

LSU is not Alabama and never will be. Alabama fans demand excellence, or else. LSU, frankly, should be happy with what they can get and Kelly is a gift that LSU fans should not ruin.
